Hiking the iconic M-Trail is one of the most popular activities in all of Missoula. In fact, last year over 200,000 people made memories with friends, family, visitors and neighbors while exploring Mount Sentinel. Over half of those people hiked the M-Trail.
Friends of the M-Trail raise funds and run volunteer work efforts to help maintain the M-Trail and other well-loved pathways crisscrossing UM's 500+ acres of land on Mount Sentinel. This important work helps ensure everyone can continue enjoying our amazing natural resources right next to campus.
