We here at the Montana Museum of Art and Culture are gratified and inspired by reaching our $3,000 goal! This achievement reflects how deeply our community values the preservation and teaching mission of MMAC. With time left in our campaign, additional gifts will help us do even more to strengthen hands-on learning and care for the collection.

The Montana Museum of Art and Culture is home to one of the oldest, largest and deepest art collections in the Rocky Mountain Northwest. It is one of three state museums in Montana, with a world-class Permanent Collection of close to 12,000 objects.

Our museum uses specialized tools to care for its collection, everything from old photos of the West by Charles E. Morris to modern art by Henry Meloy. But many of these tools are outdated and don’t work well with our cataloguing software.

You can help us protect these important pieces and give students meaningful, hands-on training for future careers in museums and the arts. By working directly with historic and often fragile artifacts, students will learn how to handle delicate objects and build skills for future careers in museums and the arts.
