Scholarships help students transform their ambition into achievement. The University of Montana’s Office of External Scholarships and Fellowships provides students with personalized support throughout the application process, from award search to submission. And with your help, we can open doors for even more students.

UM students are bright and talented. With the guidance, mentorship and belief in their potential offered by OESF, they have the support needed to apply for and win nationally competitive scholarships. In the last five years, OESF has helped students submit 357 awards to 38 different scholarships, resulting in over $1.9 million dollars of funding. And whether or not they win, students who work with OESF gain critical skills like resume writing, crafting personal statements and participating in interviews.
